One bonus to taking on the NaBloPoMo challenge(day 7 by the way) and posting every day for a whole month is that it makes you get caught up on those posts that you just have not found the extra time to do.
I have had this post on the brain for some time. Most of you know, I signed Justin up for the Littlest Heroes Project (aka: Inspiration through art). If your not sure what it is... please click the link and check it out. They have some amazing shots of kiddos over there. You might even recognize a sweet little girl on the front page :)
Once Justin was accepted into the program; we were sent a list of photographers to choose from. This is a trying task, believe me, because all of them take amazing shots. In the end... we choose well.
Right before school started this year, we loaded up and made the trip over to Orlando to meet a wonderful photographer by the name of Amanda Kern. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. We had a great time... she got some GREAT shots and she even let Justin take a few photos of Leighanna(you can see a picture of the behind the scenes action here). He was all about her mack daddy camera and if truth were known... so was I.
I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Here is just a few of the more that 300 shots Amanda snapped that day. Some are silly and some are picture perfect, but ALL OF THEM hold a lifetime of great memories.
Enjoy...
Thank you Amanda for your generosity and giving of your time and talent for an amazing organization. To check out Amanda's blog click here. I love stopping by and reading all of her inspirational quotes.
